Thank you for taking the time to consider my services and visit my site! My name is Mary Uribe, I am a TABC certified private bartender in the greater McKinney, TX area. I was born in Dallas, TX but spent my formative years in Las Vegas, NV where my love of bartending and my mixology journey began. After spending many years honing my craft in sin city, I decided to return to my country roots with my family. Once I was settled in I began missing the creativity and passion I felt while bartending, so I decided to sling drinks at The Stix Icehouse in McKinney, TX.
My Story
I never could have imagined finding the love and community I have at a little mom and pop restaurant near downtown McKinney, but I found just that at the Stix Icehouse. As lead bartender of the main bar and the private events team, I have gained further experience in excellent service and dedication to my craft. After being encouraged by friends, family, co-workers, and most importantly my guests, I decided to take a leap of faith and start my own business offering my services for private events in the area.
The Stix has now been my home for over 2 years which means you can still find me behind the bar multiple days a week. I often invite clients in for a meet and greet to discuss event planning while enjoying a delicious farm to table meal and a craft cocktail made with fresh ingredients.
